Utilizing a mechanized PTZ head this camera offers a wide range of motorized pan tilt and zoom capabilities including 2.6x optical zoom 335 of pan and sixteen preset positions. PTZ control is via an RS-485 port or via unique coaxial protocol which uses the standard video coax cable to transmit communication signals to the camera. By eliminating the need to run a second control cable coaxial control saves considerable time and cost. Another unique feature of this camera is its ability to transmit a video signal over UTP Cat 5 cable which typically costs less and also supports longer cable distances when compared to coax cable.
